Critters Burger

Best burger I've ever had at an international scale. No regrets, so delicious. Able to taste the quality of every ingredient from the meat to the lettuce. Coffee was also good, unlike a blend I'd had before - I asked for an extra shot and think it's necessary if you like strong coffee, but this goes for most Japanese coffee offerings.

Blown away by the pineapple cheese burger I had here. So well put together with the subtle chopped pickles, crispiness of the toasted bun, silkiness of the milkshake and that perfectly juicy meat. Out of this world and well worth standing 40 minutes in line for.

The burgers were completely amazing as well as the best I have ever had!!! The staff was so professional and super friendly which made the experience that much more enjoyable. I look forward to coming back and having the same if not a better experience than this time. There's so many options on the menu which makes me look forward to the next time that much more. They also play an excellent selection of music.

Read the reviews for this place before going and people described it as “one of the best burgers in Japan”. When we had burgers here, it was easily in the Top 3 of best burgers I’ve ever had. I had the bacon cheese burger and my partner had the wagyu burger and added cheese, avo, and bacon. The patty was well seasoned and every white was so delicious. Definitely recommend a try !!

Best burger in Osaka. Only thing that kept this from 5 stars is the lack of some good local drink options. The double cheese burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

A REALLY good place to have burgers in japan. If you get a bit sick of japanese food and need juste a little break this is a very good place to eat. It is small and there can be a waiting line but you can have to go.The burgers are amazing and I ate my double cheese with delight. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious burgers and great atmosphere! Waitress who served us speaks great English and provided good suggestions on burger choices. Buns were nicely toasted and meat patty was savoury! Pairs well with their thick cut potato wedges. Shake was tasty and not overly sweet. Definitely better here than a certain Shack in Umeda.

Top 5 best burgers in town. Very American vibe to the restaurant. Family owned restaurant. The staff aren’t as friendly but still in the average category in my honest opinion. When you order a burger you can either choose from a salad or French fries as your side. You might have to wait in line for a few minutes but it’s worth the wait.

Great hamburger joint. The menu has a great variety of burger types and customization is possible. Seating is limited, but the restaurant has a fun interior.

Best darn burger I've had in years. Juicy and tender, great sauces and spices used. Even the bacon was perfectly crisped. Try the onion rings! Scrumptious to the last bite.

These burgers are top notch! High quality, fire grilled patties - fresh, house-made, flavorful buns that are toasted to perfection so they don't get soggy from the super juicy meat - perfectly melted, proper cheese - all my favorite toppings available - fresh cut, perfectly seasoned wedge fries.The Cobb Salad was absolutely delicious with boiled shrimp, prosciutto, mixed greens, avocado and a soft boiled egg on top that mixed with the dressing so it was creamy.A good selection of bottled beers are available as well as wine and cocktails. English menu is available and many of the servers speak enough English for those with no Japanese ability. Service was great, and credit cards are accepted.

Probably unpopular opinion, but we didn't enjoy theses burgers. Nice place and service but the burger was not good at all. Even the salad served aside was too sour.

Awesome burgers and service!

This restaurant has a comfy and relaxed atmosphere. Our burgers were nicely grilled; juicy meat and good flavors. The salad on the side had a bit of a peppery taste and it would be perfect if we got a bit more fries!

Critters (romanized 'CRITTERS') is justification that bastardizing the mold of classic cuisine can go both ways. It's no secret that the Japanese LOVE their burgers (staple chains such as Lotteria, MOS, Freshness) but the speciality spots are beginning to break new ground with innovative takes on American classics – whether it's using mozzarella instead of cheddar, teriyaki sauce instead of ketchup or avocado just because. They say that insanity and genius is one in the same and sometimes you gotta be a little bit of both to get both special and delicious.

The pictures don’t do this place justice! So good! You can a top class burger for under ¥1,500. Fast service. Staff don’t make much English but they understand. Onion rings were very crispy, just the right amount of dressing on the salad, while the burger was soft and succulent. Would definitely recommend ;)

Burgers are tasty. Last night, service was really friendly (because no waitresses were there! Yay!). I normally get take out or forgo my burger cravings to avoid the mean girls vibe, but the guy who was taking the orders last night was really polite and welcoming as were the people in the kitchen. Attitude does matter!

One of the best burgers I've had, and easily the best in Japan. The ingredients were fresh and the proportions were perfect. Every bite has a little bit of everything. It reminded me of a bigger, meatier In-N-out Burger. The wait was a little long for lunch, but it was well worth it. The large and unique selection of soft drinks was also great.
